Congo Initiative Program

PRESIDENT OF CONGO INITIATIVE TO SPEAK AT ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH OCTOBER 27th
David M. Kasali, President of the Congo Initiative, a non-profit

organization with the goal of developing strong, indigenous Christian leaders to transform communities and the nation of the Democratic Republic of Congo, will make one of only four U.S. speaking appearances here at All Saints on Thursday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m.
 
The program is entitled "Awareness: Africa - Reconciliation, Healing, and Peace-building" and will focus on methods which the Congo Initiative is using to address the issues of genocide, the plight of women and children in the Congo, and the natural resources concerns of dealing with "conflict minerals" in the country. In addition to describing current conditions there, Kasali will speak of new approaches which are bringing hope to the region.
 
The event on October 27 will include a presentation, question-and-answer session, and an audiovisual program.
